Hawaiʻi Opioid Settlement Advisory Committee
The State is required to consult with the Hawaiʻi Opioid Settlement Advisory Committee (HOSAC) before each allocation of settlement funds. HOSAC is comprised of designees from each county, the Department of Health, the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the Department of Education, and the University of Hawaiʻi Medical School. The committee may seek guidance from experts in addiction, pain management, opioid remediation, and public health.
